Clinical Midwife Consultant- Cornelia Program Maternity Services
Fixed term until June 2023
32 Hours per week

The Women's launch Housing and HousingFirst have collaborated to develop a housing and support program that will be launched in mid 2021. this multi disciplinary, multiagency program is an Australian- first. it will offer a pathway out of homelessness for women and their infants to access support services and break the cycle of homelessness.


Your contribution 


The Clinical Midwife consultant is a clinical leadership role and will entail the provision of antenatal care and supporting the health literacy and parenting capabilities of the women withi the program.


Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:



  • Clinical care review and planning

  • Health literacy and parenting support

  • Assessment and referral



About you


To be successful within this role you will need to have:



  • Dual registered nurse and midwife registration

  • Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in providing pregnancy care for women using substances and alcohol

  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation and provision of adult/professional training programs and education
