About Monash Health

Monash Health is Victoria’s largest public health service. We are proud to provide healthcare to one quarter of Melbourne’s population, across the entire life-span from newborn and children, to adults, the elderly, their families and carers. More than 18,000 employees work at over 40 care locations across south eastern Melbourne, including Monash Medical Centre, Monash Children’s Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Kingston Centre, Cranbourne Centre, and an extensive network of rehabilitation, aged care, community health and mental health facilities.

About Mental Health

Monash Health Mental Health Services employs around 1,000 people and provides a range of community, bed-based and specialist services covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash Local Government Areas (LGAs) – a population of nearly one million.

The Program is structured around five clinical units comprising three adult units (at Casey, Dandenong and Clayton), an Early in Life Mental Health Service (comprising youth, child & adolescent and infant) and a Drug & Alcohol service. The clinical service is supported by an aligned operational structure to enable the provision of high quality service through the creation of clinical-operational partnerships which ensure a positive experience for staff, patients, carers and their families.

About the Role

In this role you will work closely with the Program Director, the Director of Training and the Executive Team Mental Health.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating meetings including venue bookings, preparing agendas, following up action items

  • Minute Taking of several regular monthly meetings

  • Extensive Diary Management

  • Preparing executive level presentations and documents;

  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and their representatives when needed; and

  • Providing efficient and effective administrative support and office management.

About You

You are an experienced EA or PA who demonstrates a flexible, can-do attitude and strong organisational, communication and time management skills. Your proactive approach and ability to ‘think on your feet’ when responding to changing demands will serve you well in a dynamic environment.

From time to time you may also engage with patients in a sensitive and confidential matter, and an ability to demonstrate empathy is imperative. You’re an exceptional team player who builds trust readily and you are also highly IT proficient.

You will also have access to salary packaging benefits that can increase your take home pay, on site car parking and the ability to accrue a day off every four weeks.
