Position Profile: We are currently seeking Trainee and Service Registrars to provide a high quality patient centred care to patients under the supervision of the Head of Department or duty consultant in the Emergency Medicine Department.

The successful applicants will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to review the medical needs of patients within Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG) and provide teaching and support, as appropriate to Doctors in Training (DiT's), Nursing, Allied Health and other multidisciplinary team members across the service and will be expected to share after-hours, evening and night shift with their peers on a pro-rata basis.

We have a number of posts which include:

Emergency Medicine / Anaesthetic rotation: These positions consist of full time, ACEM accredited appointments in both Emergency Medicine and Anaesthetics at 6 months in each.

Emergency Medicine / Medical Education: RGH also has an opportunity within the department for an education role which would suit speciality trainees in the latter part of their training with a keen interest in education and teaching.

Area Profile: Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana. As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care.

Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.
