Job Description

How Will I Help?
Working as part of our Customer Assist Team within Group Operations, your role will be key in helping contribute to Westpac’s vision and strategic priorities. You will have a core focus on assisting our customers back to financial health, bringing favourable resolutions and maximising customer experience.

As a Case Manager will specifically be responsible for:

  • The management of escalated issues from recoveries vendors including solicitors and Property Presenters
  • Making decisions and providing guidance and direction to third party providers
  • Working directly with customers to assist in them overcoming complex financial difficulty

What do I need?
You will have a proven track record in a customer focused role such as collections or contact centre. Specific experience working in Property/ Real Estate or Legal environments will also help you succeed in this role but are not essential. Your high attention to detail and strong communication skills will also help you present your findings through formal presentations to leaders.

You will have the ability to manage complex and contentious files through application of your strong problem solving skills. You will consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances and have empathy and compassion for our customers while making sure you are delivering customer-centric solutions.
