Your new role
• Implementation and follow through of all aspects of the marketing/action plan in coordination with other Marcom staff for Australia and New Zealand
• Responsible for direct mail or email activities
• Creation and distribution of regular customer, supplier and internal announcements and e-newsletters.
• Takes ownership for the creation of all marketing related literature including posters, fliers, leaflets, brochures etc. including research and preparation of content supplied by Product Managers and Marketing Manager
• Coordination of orders for advertisements, artwork and printed materials
• Manage our online newsletter subscription database and keep it up-to-date
• Manage internal and external online resources
• Keep well-informed of graphical software knowledge and desktop publishing standards with respect to the design of all marketing and promotional materials following the Branding Guideline.
• Provide marketing assistance and work with the Marketing Team and others as required to develop and implement projects
• To be involved with planning and strategic marketing to strengthen the brand and market positioning

What you'll need to succeed

• University Degree in Marketing, Business or related equivalent area of study
• Experience in Life Science or Biotechnology desirable but not essential
• At least 2 years experience in marketing communications or related discipline

Technical competencies:
• Proficiency using design and publishing software such as Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign)
• Experience and knowledge in print media and desktop publishing
• Experience in web development and basic knowledge of programming
• Understanding of technical requirements associated with content management systems (e.g. OpenText/RedDot or similar), databases and web site development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
