With a focus on training, development and career advancement, this is a broker associate role which sits within the broker relationship arm of the business. This is a perfect role to accelerate and enhance your Banking career. Based in new modern offices beside Wynyard station in the CBD, this organisation places an emphasis on flexibility and team culture.

Your new role
Manage and retain relationships with third party Mortgage Brokers. Supporting brokers to ensure they can deliver the best possible outcomes for clients. Achieve and exceed business growth objectives for the aligned account team.

  • Develop a sound understanding of the Brokers business using Conceptual Selling methodology to identify product and service opportunities
  • Implement sales strategy with structured objectives and outcomes.
  • Reactively manage aligned Mortgage Broker segment to achieve specific lending volume, retention targets and contribute to overall portfolio growth
  • Respond to queries regarding product, policy and process to make it easier for our customers (Mortgage Brokers) to do business with us.
  • Attend Broker Accreditation workshops and Market Education Program sessions to ensure the Nab Broker value proposition is realised
  • Manage and leverage internal relationships to deliver a comprehensive, competitive and quality service experience to broker businesses
  • Conduct regular ongoing reviews with aligned Nab Broker Business Development Managers regarding group performance with aggregators and broker groups
  • Capture role-based activity using business CRM system, Salesforce.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A sound understanding of home lending products,
  • Previous exposure to banking,
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous
  • Previous experience in a client relationship driven role (Business to Business)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work at pace in a target driven environment

  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Hybrid role: 2 or 3 days based in the office and the rest of the week from home
  • On the job training
