JOB DESCRIPTION

TECHNICIAN:

Responsibilities:

- Perform inspection activities to identify faults and deficiencies - Perform preservation, maintenance and repair activities

- Take ownership of their own quality of work

- Take ownership of their own HSE behaviour and assessments Requirements:

- Min. 5 years' experience

- Mechanical / hydraulic and/or electrical knowledge and experience (e.g. Trade Assistant)

- Previous fixed plant mechanical or hydraulics experience an advantage

- Preservation and maintenance experience an advantage

- Hands on tooling experience (hand tooling and power tooling)

- The ability to safely use all kinds of tooling

- Attention to detail when performing the work

- Good communication skills

- Basic mathematical skills

- Computer literate

- The ability to perform ongoing medium to high physical work (pre-medical screening required)

- Valid forklift ticket

- Desirable: working at heights, dogman, rigging, first aid

- Valid driving license, Class C LEAD TECHNICIAN: Responsibilities:

- Perform inspection activities to identify faults and deficiencies

- Perform preservation, maintenance and repair activities

- Take ownership of their own quality of work

- Take ownership of their own HSE behaviour and assessments

- Take leadership and supervision responsibilities for work activities, HSE and quality

- Take ownership of consumable usage and stock levels Requirements:

- Min. 10 years' experience

- Trade Assistant or similar background required.

- Experience working in a lead role with the ability to lead by example

- Mechanical / hydraulic and/or electrical knowledge and experience

- Previous fixed plant mechanical or hydraulics experience highly desirable

- Preservation and maintenance experience highly desirable
