About the opportunity

Kaloma currently has an opportunity for a committed and experienced Finance/Administration Assistant to join us. The position is full time permanent but will also consider applicants seeking school hours.

About us:

Kaloma is an 80 bed aged care facility in Goondiwindi that also delivers community aged care packages and 8 independent living units. Kaloma is a non-for-profit organisation administered by a voluntary Board of Directors – therefore all funds go back into the facility and our residents care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • General ad-hoc administrative support duties including but not limited to printing, filing, scanning and reception duties
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance & administration team
  • Data entry – accounts payable and receivable
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Directing phone calls and enquiries
  • Other finance duties as required

Experience in a previous finance/administrative role is advantageous. The applicant must be confident using Microsoft Word & Excel, have great communication skills, be well presented and have great time management skills.
