Electrician - Residential Port Hedland, Wa - Up To $47.50 Penalties Al/sl

Any Industry
Source: uWorkin

Have you ever wanted to live in WA, in a regional town? Or maybe you want to enter the mining industry? Now's your chance

Unite Resourcing are seeking an Electrician for a key client based in Port Hedland for an immediate start. Ideally seeking those already in Hedland of course, we're open to those interstate and encourage interstate applications. You will be assisted in moving to Port Hedland.

This is a residential, full-time position, not labour hire or a short-term contract. You will get sick days, annual leave, and personal leave. Our client is a tier one contractor holding contracts with FMG, Roy Hill, and others. They work within both the Heavy Industrial industries as well as mine maintenance. They have work in Hedland as well as sporadic shutdown work, and you will have the opportunity to jump between both. We are chasing three sparkies at the moment.

If relocating from Perth, you can drive to Port Hedland and you will be compensated for your fuel and accommodation whilst making the journey. If relocating from interstate, we will pay your flight one-way to Port Hedland. We will also help you establish accommodation. If requested, you can also complete a short-term trial (1 - 2 weeks) to see if it's something you would consider long-term.

We're offering up to $47.50/hr + penalties (however, for those with less experience we start around $40 - $42/hr), relocation allowance, regional allowance towards rent, and salary sacrifice.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • WA Electrical Licence (easy to apply for online)
  • Car licence
  • White Card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
  • Ability to work alone and unsupervised
  • Fault finding and diagnostic ability
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Ideally the flexibility to start immediately
  • High Risk Tickets will be highly regarded
What's on offer:
  • Up to $47.50/hr + penalties (starting at $40/hr and scaling up)
  • Salary Sacrifice for accommodation ($250/week)
  • 55 - 84 hours a week, AS MANY HOURS AS YOU WANT
  • Super at 9.5%
  • Relocation package (accommodation/fuel costs/flight there)
  • Work/Life balance, and a company where you won't be a number
  • Full-time contract (AL, Sick Leave, Personal Leave)
At Unite, safety is paramount to anything else on site, and as such the right candidate will have a strong commitment to Health and Safety and will be able to work as part of a team with a positive, friendly, and can-do attitude.

Please DO NOT apply if you don't have valid Australian work-rights.
