Action Workforce have teamed with our client and for this exciting opportunity. We currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Data Entry Clerk to join our client based in Wingfield.

This role is offered on an ongoing casual basis between the hours of 8.30am - 15.00pm Monday to Friday. You must still be flexible with hours as there will be times when the successful candidate will be required to work additional hours to cover absences we may also need to move the times to end at 4.30pm to provide coverage in the department.

The Team Member is required to provide administration support to ensure that the goods operations can be recorded and processed accurately and in an efficient manner in accordance with all company guidelines and procedures, including all OH&S practices and Legislative requirements.

The duties you will be required to perform in this role include but are not limited to:

  • Timely receipt of inbound deliveries in accordance with KPI's
  • Imports are processed in accordance with policy
  • Customer service calls
  • Advanced Data Entry
  • Maintenance of suspense report
  • Pallet control
  • Accounts Payable/ Smartleap Accounting System
  • Payroll Entry
  • Any or all administrative functions in support of a successful distribution centre operation in accordance with guidelines and policy

The skills required to be successful in this role:

  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Typing speed - 60 wpm
  • Competent data checking skills
  • Advanced numeric skills
  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices
  • Professional and friendly phone manner
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to pass drug, alcohol and full functional testing
  • Previous relevant experience in admin is essential
