The Role
We're on the lookout for a Infrastructure Engineer to join our infrastructure team. This role will report to the Infrastructure Manager and work closely with members of the IT team and the wider business to build and support both our cloud-based technology, as well as being a key contributor of to the operational IT support to the business.

This position involve working on new and existing Infrastructure projects and wider IT team projects to enhance our platform with new features and capabilities that will provide improved customer experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the IT Infrastructure implementation of the IT strategy
  • Support of the technology infrastructure across the business to ensure optimal performance and cost
  • Be responsible for Public Cloud Infrastructure (AWS and a small amount of Azure) Management and Support
  • DevOps process development and best practice
  • Providing technical support and resolution of IT related requests and incidents at Level 3
  • Assist with the preventative maintenance program and assist in the maintenance of Workstation and Server infrastructure
  • On-Premises/Private Cloud Server Infrastructure Management and Support
  • Work with Vendors and stakeholders to build and maintain our platform
  • Technical execution, ensuring consistent high-quality tasks are completed in a cohesive and collaborative environment.
  • Security hardening and patching in all aspects of cyber security
  • Collaborative relationships with the business functions aligning business need, leading and supporting best practice in solution development and implementation
  • Supporting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of business assets, information, data and IT services through clearly defined processes and standards
  • System scripting to accelerate and automate the delivery of IT services to the business.
  • Work with our vendors and stakeholders to maintain our platform;
  • Support and monitor our environment to ensure it’s available and reliable.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Server Infrastructure both physical/virtual and Public/Private Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Participate in the On-Call Roster and shift-based cover for the Service Desk

What you will need to be super successful in the role is:

  • Strong experience with managing project and agile tracking and System scripting to accelerate and automate the delivery of IT services to the business
  • Strong understanding of public cloud platforms including AWS, both server and serverless services;
  • A breadth of knowledge and depth of experience in maintaining infrastructure and software products
  • Computer IP network and Server Infrastructure concepts including LAN, WAN, Group Policy, AD, DNS, IIS, DHCP;
  • Microsoft desktop operating systems and related Microsoft server software products including Office 365;
  • User and computer management via Active Directory and federation services;
  • Group Policy Management;
  • Experience in knowledgebase tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Server Infrastructure both physical/virtual and Public/Private Cloud Infrastructure.
