What The Role Will Offer

It’s an exciting time to join Water Corporation. As well as providing the critical systems and technology needed to secure Western Australia’s water future, our Information Technology Group (ITG) is supporting an enterprise transformation that will change the way we deliver value to our customers.

In this challenging and impactful leadership role, you will own Water Corporation’s technology strategy and the long-term roadmap for our IT systems architecture. Reporting to the Head of Business - Strategy, Architecture and Security, you’ll develop and manage objectives, frameworks and metrics for the strategic technology planning process and take ownership of architecture governance to ensure that ITG decision making aligns to Corporate and business objectives.

Moving at pace, your sharp knowledge of the latest technology and systems innovations will ensure that we predict and respond to business needs with robust planning and flawless project execution, while delivering maximum value for our stakeholders.

You’ll represent ITG with our senior executive group, translating complex technical strategy into a clearly articulated priorities and leading discussions on new initiatives and opportunities for digital innovation. You’ll also be the strategic link between our customers and our IT services, influencing collaborative relationships and managing expectations so that the Corporation can successfully balance emerging needs with our 5-year capital program.

Your substantial experience in developing and executing enterprise architectural solutions in a complex IT environment will help you quickly establish a strong governance framework to ensure quality deliverables across process, information, application, and technology architectural domains. You’ll also bring to the table demonstrated capability to lead, driving a high-performance culture that achieves exceptional outcomes from, your team and supporting functions and delivery partners.
