A key member of AGL’s Corporate Affairs team, the Corporate Communications Coordinator will provide internal and external communications support to AGL’s Corporate teams, particularly P&C and Finance. This role will also play an important role in supporting the Communications Manager with the delivery of communications strategies that build employee engagement and connect people with AGL’s strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide internal and external communications support to AGL’s Corporate teams, particularly P&C and Finance.
  • Support the Manager Communications in the delivery of communications strategies that build employee engagement and connect people with AGL’s strategy
  • Develop content relating to each of the AGL Corporate Business Units for use across AGL’s digital channels
  • Support the development and day to day implementation of internal and external content and communications strategies to support key business initiatives and company-wide announcements, with a focus on Corporate teams
  • Support the creation of internal and external communication materials, including employee news content, content for social and digital channels, briefing notes and presentations
  • Input to the Corporate Affairs communications and engagement calendar to ensure co-ordination across all of the Corporate Communications team
  • Provide business leaders with advice and support to improve communication outcomes
About You What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field
  • Experience in a Communications Coordinator position ideally within an ASX listed organisation
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience developing and implementing internal communications
  • Experience developing communications materials and use of various media and channels.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of people
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and effectively manage time and prioritise workload
  • A strong understanding of how to use visual communication to support messaging
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint, video editing and MS Word skills
