We currently have an opportunity for a Demand Planning Manager to join our wider Commercial Supply Chain Team. This position will collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and planning teams to consistently deliver the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts with astute accuracy and effective stakeholder engagement.

About You

You are strong team player, who can work collaboratively for results. That can bring their experience, leadership and knowledge to the team. That has a strong understanding of S&OP processes and outcomes. That can work cross functionally across the business to provide transparent recommendations based on the analysis of data to ensure informed decisions can be made.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Interact with sales, marketing, and sales finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Category to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning system as the primary forecasting system tool and other supporting tools.

The Successful Candidate Should Be
  • Highly analytically minded and comfortable managing high volumes of data in various data formats and sources
  • Strong Leadership skills, previous experience in either managing, coaching teams
  • Capable of presenting information to individuals and groups
  • Highly coordinated and comfortable managing deadlines
  • Highly adaptable and able to build relationships across different departments
  • Competent to a high level in MS Office applications (especially Excel) SAP/APO & (Nielsen or iQVIA)
  • Degreed qualified in business, supply chain or other relevant fields
  • APICS or other relevant Certification preferred
