Our client is a trusted and respected provider of essential services that is making a positive difference throughout Tasmania.

In partnership with our client, we are looking for an appropriately skilled Facilities Support Officer to provide coverage within its Facilities Team on the NW Coast, Tasmania. The ideal candidate will be someone with prior experience within Facility / Contract Management or ability to demonstrate equivalent competence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of contracts associated with our clients owned facilities / assetts
  • Ensuring building services suck as AC, cleaning, repairs, maintenance and security passes are completed
  • Arranging and reporting on any programmed or reactive maintenance
  • Ensuring facilities have the right configuration and amenities are safe, clean and secure
  • Responding to emergencies associated with facilities maintenance

The successful candidate will be someone able to offer an immediate start, ideally living between Burnie and Devonport and will be able to demonstrate prior equivalent competance.

It is essential you will have:

  • Proven experience in facilities management
  • Understanding of internal controls and key risk factors
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking facilities projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • C class drivers licence
  • Certificate III in Facilities Management (Desirable)
