About this opportunity

As we prepare for this next exciting chapter as an organisation, we require an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join our team. This role will work across all areas of the employee lifecycle and involves taking responsibility for HR Operations at Film Victoria. This is a fixed term role (12 months) to ensure the delivery of ongoing HR support, while Film Victoria's current HR Manager works on development and capability initiatives.

You will be:

  • An experienced, personable, and commercially minded HR professional with experience providing high quality, timely, advice and support across a range of HR activities and initiatives.
  • Skilled in advising and coaching people leaders on a range of issues to facilitate delivery of business outcomes and to enhance people management capability.
  • Confident and experienced interpreting enterprise agreements and other industrial instruments.
  • Flexible and happy to work on a range of tasks, with the demonstrated ability to balance HR administrative activities with provision of day-to-day operational support and advice to the Film Victoria business. This will see you embedded in the business as the go-to HR person.

Qualifications, Expertise and Attributes essential for this role include:

  • Qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Significant experience partnering and working collaboratively with people leaders to support a range of HR activities and initiatives.
  • Proven success driving and delivering HR operations including recruitment, performance management and interpretation of Acts and Agreements. Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to a range of situations.
  • Resilience and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to communicate clearly and with impact, to manage and facilitate difficult conversations and to drive outcomes.
  • A willingness and enthusiasm to tackle challenges, large and small, and to roll up your sleeves and get involved in all areas of HR.
