The Team

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager Finance; this position is ideal for a naturally motivated individual with a result driven approach. The role has 3 direct report and responsibilities include:

Lead, manage and mentor the Financial Control team

Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts in accordance with the Company’s month end reporting timelines

Prepare detailed reports on the company’s financial performance

Oversee the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts for Group Companies ensuring all company and statutory accounting standards and obligations are met

Driving continuous process improvement and automation with the Finance department

Perform regular financial analysis

Manage all external and internal audit processes including compliance with Racing and Sporting body product fee agreements

Manage financial processes inline accordance with internal controls framework

You

Strong previous experience in a senior Financial Accounting role, leveraging that experience to achieve results in a fast-paced, scalable company.

Experience in an ASX 100 company or equivalent will be looked upon favourably

strong technical accounting experience and have exceptional analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

Ability to deliver high-quality, timely, accurate and insightful analysis with an exceptional level of attention to detail

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders including delivery of presentations to Senior Management and Leadership Team

A sound knowledge of AIFRS

Preferrable experience with Oracle or similar ERP system

Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential

CPA or CA professional qualification is a must
