JOB DESCRIPTION

This is outstanding opportunity to develop your career at a fast growing financial institution and gain exposure across all facets of the business as well as external and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Manage and lead the registry team (including workload, recruitment and development);
  • Provide excellent service to clients and actively manage relationships;
  • Assist with attracting new clients including involvement in the drafting of proposals and preparation of agreements;
  • Onboarding new clients including overseeing the uploading and verification of data;
  • Attending meetings with clients and key stakeholders;
  • Validating data entry of unit-holder transactions, e.g. applications, redemptions, switches, off-market transfers and deceased estate transmissions;
  • Ensuring all applications are received into the unit registry system and any outstanding information is followed up;
  • Ensuring all AML/KYC checks are performed as required;
  • Responsibility for daily and monthly operational registry and reporting deliverables for clients and ensure they are met in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Monitoring inbox and ensure all enquiries receive a timely response;
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in fund administration and a deep understanding of AML/KYC requirements essential;
  • An aptitude for information technology;
  • Understanding of the regulatory frameworks in which a registry business operates;
  • Proved management skills demonstrated by success in a similar role;
  • Operational knowledge of fund accounting is desirable;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail;
  • Ability to organise and perform own work without direct supervision;
  • Collaborative working style with good people management skills;
  • Efficient and enthusiastic with a friendly and positive disposition;
  • Client service focused.
