Are you passionate, enthusiastic and ready to join an experienced talented crew of hospitality professionals? Our main production kitchen is currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef who will be responsible for food safety and the provision of a variety of quality foods and beverages to meet our residents individual needs and their enjoyment of food. The Sous Chef assists and supports the Head Chef to ensure that all food production and distribution is performed to a high standard, in a timely manner and within budget, OSH requirements and accreditation standards. This is a hands on role requiring you to work on Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm.

You'll also have:

  • Cooking qualification
  • Working knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP) guidelines and regulations in relation to food preparation and quality food and beverage service practices.
  • Advanced written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceeding customer satisfaction.
  • Safe use of chemicals and knowledgeable of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all applicable chemicals.
  • Working rights within Australia
  • National Police Clearance less than 6 months old
  • Influenza Statement
