This is a hybrid Business Development position managing projects in the high-end residential building space.

The company I am partnering with is a well-established, high-end landscaping business based in Perth.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team. You will head up a new division for the company taking projects from initial enquiry through to construction.

This is an excellent role positioned for a driven Landscaping/Building professional seeking to advance their career and manage their own operations.

The duties for the role include but will not be limited to:

  • Generating a new client and customer base in the high-end residential building space including – designers both landscaping & Interior, architects, contractors, and major suppliers.
  • Negotiating with customers and clients to close projects.
  • Develop and implement effective business plans covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organisation’s presence throughout your target market.
  • Manage contracts and draft new business proposals to present to internal and external parties.
  • Develop strong genuine relationships within the industry, that is built of the back of your passionate personality.
A little bit about you:
  • A proven track record managing projects end to end in the Building/Landscaping space.
  • Ideally a qualified Architect or Landscape Designer – degree, diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally you will have an established network of contacts to hit the ground running with.
  • You will be comfortable managing both contractor and client side.
  • You will be passionate about developing new business and have a track record breaking into un-established markets.
