JOB DESCRIPTION

NT Integrated Therapy are seeking an exceptional NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team providing NDIS service delivery across the Top End. Working remotely in Alice Springs, you will report directly to management located in the Darwin head office on a daily basis.

This position will commence as a 3 month casual contract at either full or part time hours, depending on the availability of the right person. This position is intended to progress to a permanent position for the right applicant.

Your responsibilities as an NDIS Support Coordinator are, but are not limited to:

- Connecting with NDIS participants ongoingly and supporting them to establish, engage and maintain supports that will enable them to live a life full of choice and control.

- Closely monitoring and reporting on plan budgets and overall plan usage, outcomes and participant benefit.

- Working with/for the participant to schedule supports within their budget and in-line with their NDIS goals.

- Provide referral and connectivity with related service providers continuously.

- Work closely with participants, providing ongoing and flexible face to face engagement with them and their stakeholders.

A little about the exceptional person we are seeking to fill this position:

- You hold a minimum Cert III qualification in Community Services or a related field.

- You hold a valid NT Drivers License and you have your own reliable vehicle.

- You hold both a National Police Clearance Check and Working with Children's Clearance OCHRE Card, or have ability to obtain prior to the commencement of your employment.

- You are trustworthy, reliable, flexible, able to take initiative and work autonomously with supervision from afar. You have a natural ability to flourish in a high demand environment and can think outside of the square. You are able to take initiative, be confident and knowledgeable within your position, constantly seek self-accessible professional growth and knowledge around the ever-changing NDIS, all while providing services in-line with the NDIS Act.

- You have experience working in disability, mental health, nursing or education with a keen interest in enriching the lives of those living with a disability.

- You have your own private work space where you can work completely uninterrupted within business hours, Monday to Friday.

- Lastly, you have a "can do" attitude. You are a team player with a glass half full outlook and an ability and eagerness to make a real positive difference to the lives of participants.

Contract length: 3 months

Part-time hours: 25-38 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour
