Business Banking (BB) offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium, enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers. We also take care of our personal and institutional online trading customers and our premium personal Private Banking customers.

Your Team:

The Change team work on various Project and BAU change initiatives across CommSec. They develop, coordinate and deliver innovative, interactive and hands-on change strategies designed to build change readiness for staff and the business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create strategies to support adoption of the change management techniques within the organisation.

  • Develop, coordinate and deliver innovative, interactive and hands-on change strategies designed to build change readiness for staff and the business.

  • Develop change management plans for each project or change initiative that acknowledges the different aspects of the change process – analysis, plan, implementation, communicate and other associated change considerations.

  • Develop change management processes and tools to support the integration and engagement with change management principles.

  • Prepare impact analyses and evaluation of the actual impact of changes, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.

  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics, and identify and manage anticipated resistance to change.

  • Work collaboratively Projects Managers to integrate change management activities into project plans and schedules.

  • Identify opportunities and provide expertise to build resilience to change across the organisation.

  • Create and manage the input, collation and output of the change management reporting systems for delegated projects, including provide regular and ad hoc reports to satisfy individual project, portfolio, or Executive requirements.

  • Work with peers and colleagues in project and BAU teams responsible for delivery of project outcomes to ensure identification of change and communication requirements and development of strategies to assist with the embedding of change.

  • Your subject matter expertise positions you as an advisor and coach to project teams and the business community.

  • Key to your success is your ability to effectively partner with others to deliver an outcome

  • Collaborative and known for your honest, transparent approach to your people interactions.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Must have experience in developing Change Management Plans that outlines the project schedule, resource plans, Change RACI, risk and issues for the change stream, and the rhythm and process for monitoring and report against progress.

  • Must have advanced skills in managing senior stakeholder’s expectations in high-pressure environments within tight deadlines.

  • Experience in working with C-level executives including coaching them to act as Change Sponsors and Champions.

  • Experience in working on multiple streams of work/projects (including multi-year) simultaneously, eg $10m + budget each.

  • You will have worked on large, complex changes and will have demonstrable experience pulling together aggregated understanding of change across an organisation.

  • Your resilience and adaptability enables you to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have the ability to navigate through ambiguity, evolving change solutions with flexibility and agility

  • PROSCI certification essential

  • Project Management accreditation (Prince2, Agile, PMI etc) – preferred, but not essential
