The Sanofi Intern Program is a 4-month opportunity for current students that offers you a supportive learning environment to cultivate skills critical for your future success.

Our internship offers you valuable hands-on experience and the chance to immerse yourself into an organisation where you will be able to impact people’s lives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply knowledge from your current tertiary studies into by working collaboratively to tackle daily challenges and deliver best practice. Commencing mid-July 2021, you will work closely with a supervisor and their team to develop your technical skills and real-life experience.

As the Business Analytics Intern, your role will be to work with the Finance, Procurement, and functional teams to analyse spending across all cost centres of our Industrial Affairs business unit to identify any areas of opportunity for cost savings.

Other priorities in this role include:

  • Analyse spend by cost centre, using techniques such as Pareto etc to determine areas of highest opportunity and immediate focus
  • Work with team managers to understand limitations or challenges on delivery of initiatives
  • Propose cost saving projects, with associated workload to deliver, taking into account forecasted challenges
  • Work with the site teams on delivering the savings
  • Ensure that all day to day business activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and in an ethical manner.
  • Maintain an agreed call rate and ensure timely reports are provided as requested.

What we’re looking for:

  • You will be in your penultimate year of studying an undergraduate degree in the areas of Finance, Commerce, Business Analytics or Business Information Systems with a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Are able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week onsite at our Virginia office
  • Proficiency with Office and commonly used productivity tools
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player and who is able to work collaboratively
  • Someone who is eager to develop themselves and will take ownership of their role once project goals and tasks are set
  • Experience with SAP programs is highly desirable.
