About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, as a new Human Resources (HR) Graduate, you’ll be working closely across our human resources and senior leadership teams to ensure the business receives professional and seamless human resources support across our Australian based teams and international project teams.

A typical day as our HR Graduate might look like this;

  • Providing proactive and responsive administration support to our close-knit HR team, including; triaging and responding to employee queries, employee document preparation, drafting employee correspondence and supporting our cyclical people activities (such as our annual performance cycle).
  • Assisting with our talent acquisition activities, such as; drafting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and conducting sanctions and reference checking.
  • Maintaining accurate data and employee records using a range of systems (such as Page Up, Chris21 and SharePoint).
  • Coordinating the onboarding and offboarding processes for our people around the world.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve HR service delivery and processes.
  • Supporting the delivery of key people initiatives across our head and field offices.


About You

To succeed in this role you will be a skilled communicator who likes to support others. In addition, you will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, these are critical to your success in this role. 

You will also have:

  • Customer service experience and a passion for delivering work to a high standard;
  • Proactive nature, taking initiative and accountability for work;
  • Continuous improvement mindset;
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative;
  • Highly skilled in time management, prioritising and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines;
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office suite (intermediate to advanced user), strong systems literacy; and
  • Friendly and flexible with a positive 'can do' attitude.
