Senior Business Analyst, Operations Hub

About the role

This really cool agile Senior Business Analyst position will see you working with and embedding yourself in our Operations hub division - that is our biggest business unit here at ME, and also means where all the really cool sh*t happens! You will have a keen focus on continuous improvement and regulatory compliance (RG271 experience a bonus) commencing with discovery, moving into shaping, and all the way through to development and implementation.

You will work with peeps at a multitude of levels, ensuring our governance and process is clearly defined, understood, managed and applied consistently across ME. You’ll recheck regularly to determine and continuously validate whether projects and scope contribute towards ME Bank’s strategic goal and you’ll be key to driving and participating in ongoing process review cycles - helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and maturity growth.

You’ll be the go-to in providing guidance and hands on support, including senior business stakeholders, in line with standardised guidelines, tools, templates and frameworks and will be the conjugate between IT and the Operations hub working groups. You’ll also be paramount in providing functional expertise (on assigned functional areas) to solution designers, developers, testers and business groups.

As a highly skilled agile Senior Business Analyst (you know all the banking jargon), you will have the expert ability to extract complex details from a range of sources and structure large amounts of information into easily digestible process maps and working instructions - aka into layman’s terms so we can all understand!

Naturally, you always wear your risk lenses, and control focus along the way and with experience working with stakeholders across all levels, you’re a solid influencer who has a track record driving successful outcomes. As a proactive team member, you happily jump in and assist when required to swarm around blockers, coaching and guiding other team members – you get it and are passionate about playing your part in an organisation.
