About the Role

The Credit team is looking for an experienced Credit Assessor who is passionate about growing our brand and has demonstrated experience working in similar credit role.

The purpose of the Credit Assessor is to ensure that risk and credit worthiness is assessed in accordance with Pepper credit policy and deliverable within required time frames whilst providing exemplary customer service.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • At least 2 years experience in underwriting (preferably non-conforming),
  • The ability to understand and appropriately utilise systems and processes for credit and operational risk assessment,
  • Proven to be self-motivated, driven, highly organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.


  • A degree in Business, Accounting, or other relevant qualification
  • Certificate IV in Credit Management
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment
