The Opportunity

The emergence of the digital world represents an opportunity for TasWater to become a digital utility. A water utility that has the flexibility, capability, culture and commitment to seek out and leverage emerging digital technologies to deliver our Customer Promises faster and more efficiently.


To realise that vision, we are building a team of specialists to deliver multiple and varied digital projects. We’re bringing technology, innovation and efficiency functions together in a new Digital Program to take our business to the next level.


As our Scrum Master, you will work with a group of problem solvers collaborating on a wide range of technology products that aim to transform the way we do things. You will coordinate and coach our application development team in applying the scrum framework to produce high quality work.

This is a permanent full time position with flexible working from home options. The position attracts a total remuneration package of $105 - 118K per annum (including superannuation).


Key Accountabilities


  • Coordinate sprints, retrospectives and daily stand ups
  • Ensure the team translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Create a productive environment where the development team own the products and enjoy working on them.
  • ​Proactively monitor project status and mitigate any issues and risks that may impact on successful delivery.
  • Support the creation of program roadmaps.
  • Develop and implement Agile processes to support collaboration and project delivery, providing Agile coaching to team members and stakeholders.
