About the role

The Clinical Trial Coordinator is responsible for coordinating conduct and management of designated clinical trials and research projects in the Department of Medical Oncology.

The Clinical Trial Coordinator is expected to:

  • Ensure effective communication with members of trial unit, trial sponsor and supporting departments within the hospital
  • Ensure effective communication with research participants and their families.
  • Maintain effective and efficient processes that ensure quality research.
  • Commitment to improving cancer outcomes through quality research.

Classification for this role is based on qualifications held by the applicant as outlined within the position description.

What you bring

  • Tertiary Science qualification or Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Commitment to improving cancer outcomes through research.
  • Demonstrated ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.
  • Demonstrated effective organisational skills including ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in Oncology is highly regarded
