Bid Manager

The successful candidate will be able to provide a cross-functional coordination role to provide quality responses to high value complex sales opportunities. We are looking for a well-rounded enthusiastic individual who is a self-starter with incredible focus on managing & coordinating bids, as well as the ability to develop proposals independently.


  • Substantial Bid Management and process knowledge from previous roles in large IT organisations, with a demonstrable background in creating complex service and product RFP responses
  • Strong industry experience with a track record in understanding complex customer requirements and developing responses designed to meet strict customer procurement processes
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with account teams, as well as Finance and Legal teams to collaborate and address complex commercial and legal challenges associated with both direct and in-direct (i.e. via Partner) bids
  • Manage projects from start to finish including allocating roles and responsibilities, responding to non-technical questions, consolidating, formatting, and editing responses and resolving project issues
  • Occasionally support Proactive Proposals where you will act as the lead writer leveraging existing content and working with subject matter experts
  • Help to identify and implement bid management standards and process improvements throughout the team, including templates to drive replication and scalability


  • Minimum 5 Years in the industry with relevant pre-sales experience in a bid management, business development or consultancy role
  • The ability to cooperate with cross functional geographically spread teams
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, as well as writing skills - advanced skills in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Strong English language skills (written & spoken) with the ability to occasionally translate content a nice to have
  • Fundamental knowledge of bid management processes, systems and philosophy associated with high-performance, high technology companies
  • Demonstrate the successful management-to-completion of many major projects
  • Ability to identify the significantly complex information needs of target audiences, develop appropriate documentation plans, and manage the execution of those plans concurrently
  • High-level technical understanding and industry knowledge
  • Be able to work with different cultures and nationalities predominantly in a virtual environment
  • Ability to solve a wide range of complex problems related to proposals, as well as the creation and maintenance of documentation sets in creative and practical ways
  • University or College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, English or Journalism is preferable
