GCO is a center of excellence within Janssen responsible for clinical trials and other data generation activities to support R&D and Medical Affairs Research. The GCO team manages trials in phases I-IV. Our current areas of focus in GCO are Oncology and Haematology, Infectious diseases & Vaccines, Immunology, Cardiovascular disease and Neuroscience.

The Opportunity

An opportunity is available for a Clinical Project Manager to join our high performing Global Clinical Operations (GCO) team. You will be the point of contact for the global team as well as the local Clinical Research Manager, providing project team oversight to achieve flawless execution of assigned clinical trials. You will cover all aspects of study execution from pre- trial assessments through to database locks and close out activities. The role extends more broadly to include, in some cases, leading a cross functional team or working on early development pipeline products. This is a permanent, full time role.

As an exceptional team member, you will liaise and build strong working relationships with internal and external customers and ensure the smooth running of our projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget and in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), relevant SOPs and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will be required to contribute to process improvement, train and mentor other team members as applicable.

This role requires someone with Clinical Project Management experience, excellent communication and leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. A strong knowledge of GCP and local regulatory guidelines and a medical, paramedical or life sciences tertiary qualification will be essential.

Preferred Qualifications

:
  • Pharmaceutical and/or clinical trial experience is preferred.
  • Early phase research experience is an advantage.
  • Therapeutic knowledge in Immunology, Vaccine, Hematology and Oncology ishighly regarded.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel.
