Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced and enthusiastic individuals to the position of Program Manager within the Medical Imaging Replacement Program (MIRP), to lead one or more commissioning workstreams. As part of the MIRP leadership team, you will ensure each work stream is delivered per defined scope, cost and schedule. You will also monitor workstream progress to identify success and areas for improvement for further capability for delivery as well as manage project management resources to deliver agreed work streams and/or other program initiatives. The successful candidates will preferably have demonstrated experience in commissioning clinical solutions into hospital sites.

The Medical Imaging Replacement Program (MIRP) is tasked with replacing the existing Picture Archiving and Communication System/Radiology Information System (PACS/RIS) which is reaching the end of its life. The new solution is called the Enterprise Medical Imaging Platform, which includes 15 separate software packages. A key addition to existing capability is the Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA), which will provide the capability to store all digital images regardless of speciality. These can then be securely shared between clinicians to improve patient outcomes. The solution once implemented will have a ten plus year lifespan and be used across the public hospital system.
