About The Role

Based on Garden Island, this permanent full-time role is responsible for the preparation and management of Integrated Project Master Schedules and providing scheduling, earned value and project controls reports for External Maintenance Availabilities (EMA’s) / Maintenance Window Opportunities (MWO’s). Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining the master project schedule for ship maintenance projects & shutdowns using Primavera P6
  • Ensuring all planning interfaces and inter-dependencies are fully captured in the master schedule.
  • Producing and maintaining critical path analysis and key event/milestones plan
  • Regularly analyse the project schedule and manage schedule variance and total float
  • Provide earned value analysis reports, S-Curve, SPI, CPI and other performance metrics
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate schedule risks and conflicts
  • Support the Production Manager in preparation of daily and weekly project reports and lookaheads
  • Directly engage with Subcontractors and Project Supervisors to obtain schedule data and progress updates

About you
  • Committed to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Demonstrated and relevant experience in planning and scheduling preferably within a project environment
  • Working experience with Primavera P6 and Earned Value Analysis reports
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with team members and key internal and external stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel
  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
  • MUST be an Australian Citizen
  • Experience with other scheduling software (Open Plan Professional, Acumen Fuse, Primavera Risk Analyser)
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management and systems
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Project and Excel and proficient
