  • Permanent full-time opportunity based in Newcastle, Orange or Parramatta
  • Salary starting from $128,473 + super
As the Valuation Manager, you will lead a small and expanding team of Valuers in the provision of valuations within Crown Land. You will be responsible for the delivery of key program streams including the Crown Land Estate Valuation Program and Rental Determination Valuation Program; as well as internal and external valuation requests for licenses and leases, including complex valuation types. Leading these pieces of work, you will provide expert advice, undertake complex commercial negotiations and lead and mentor your team to achieve government priorities in the management of Crown lands.

You will have highly developed leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team to achieve outcomes in a fast-paced and changing environment. Using your demonstrated abilities in stakeholder management and highly developed verbal and written communication skills, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the review of current methodologies, processes and policies whilst delivering on program objectives. Given the volume of work and competing priorities, the ability to be flexible and agile will set you up for success in this dynamic environment. Essential

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in valuation, economics, property management or other relevant field and/or equivalent knowledge
  • Extensive experience as a Valuer and sound knowledge of statutory valuations
  • Certified Practising Valuer, with registration as an Associate of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI)
  • Current drivers licence and willingness to travel
