JOB DESCRIPTION

Join one of SA's largest employers in a true Customer Service role. If you have a genuine interest to assist people & are serious about starting your career in banking, then this role may be for you! Based in either the southern or western suburbs, your role will be assisting customers through various tools and negotiations, to find solutions in order to bring their loan, credit card or transaction account into balance.

This rewarding opportunity will be suited to individuals who have a genuine empathetic and resilient nature, where you will be are a key team member in providing customers with financial solutions, working in supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling calls from customers, providing professional assistance using positive language to truly understand the customers situation
  • Work a portfolio of accounts, implementing and utilising strategies and legal processes to ensure all accounts are managed in the most time and cost-effective manner
  • Negotiating with customers to find sustainable solutions to their financial situation
  • Providing a positive experience for the customer through positive language and tone, building a rapport with customers
  • Achieve agreed key performance measures

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experienced in a customer service environment, where you have serviced customers either over the phone or face to face
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving and atttention to detail
  • Resilience and Empathy is your key to success in this role
  • A Finance/business or a psychology background will be highly regarded

Key Requirements:

  • Permanent Full Time, 38 hours per week working between Monday to Friday 7am-7:30pm and Saturday 8:30-6pm, on a rotating roster
  • Must be able to pass a National Police History Check and 2 Referee Checks
  • Must be available to commence immediately, although ample notice will be given if successful
  • Must be open to all locations listed
