About the Opportunity

As we continue our rapid growth into 2021, we are seeking an experienced Administrative professional to contribute to the success of our projects.

You will primarily provide assistance to our co-CEO and Operations Director, but also seek out opportunities to support and help all staff.

This position is aimed at someone who has minimum of 2 years office administration experience and is a proactive forward-thinker. A positive outlook and strong work ethic as well as an ability to think outside the box are highly regarded. You must work well under pressure and have strong communication skills. The successful applicant will need to be able to manage competing priorities, be self-motivated, resourceful and a great communicator.

Ideally you will have a background working in the information technology and data services industry alongside technical consultants, data scientists and data engineers.

What you will be doing

  • Assist in project documentation such as reports and specifications.
  • Preparation, coordination and management of office life, including organising events, training, and some HR support.
  • Assist Consultants in the delivery of projects and the administrative functions associated with those roles.
  • Project administration and document control.
  • Working with Operations Director on policy implementation.
  • Assist in diary management, invoicing and expense reporting as required.
  • Other general admin duties as required.
  • Adhere to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Builder mindset - you should have good problem-solving skills and an energetic and tenacious attitude to get to grips with a problem and “get stuff done”.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and organise priorities autonomously to meet deadlines.
  • Great organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable.
