The Role

We now have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Change Consultant to join our Organisational Effectiveness team in our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract basis.

Reporting into Manager Change & Culture, you will play a key role in developing, and executing a Sustainability Program of Work which is tasked to improve energy and emissions data and processes across the business as part of APA’s commitment to achieve Net Zero Emissions by 2050.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply the APA Change Delivery Framework to ensure change methodology and toolkits are applied consistently across the business, as well as contribute to the evolution of this methodology.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify risk mitigation tactics as part of the change management process.
  • Develop and deliver communications and engagement activities, utilising existing business rhythms where possible.
  • Conduct effective stakeholder engagement through-out the change journey.

About You

  • Project Change Management experience in a complex infrastructure business or relevant environment.
  • Change Management qualifications.
  • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and get involved in solutions that ensure stakeholders are supported through the phases of change.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Well-developed facilitation abilities.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is prepared to be creative and flexible in the application of change management expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience working on complex projects.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and manage multiple inflight projects
  • Experience working in the Energy Industry is desirable.
