About the Role:

Are you looking to kick start your career in a varied and hands-on role within a large, stable organisation?

D&W Devonport are seeking a self-driven individual to join their team and learn all facets of the business, beginning primarily with stores and deliveries, with a view to eventually progress further within the business.

Rewards include participation in the profit share system, and ongoing training and support.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving goods from suppliers and stocking shelves
  • Picking orders that are due to be dispatched to customers
  • Delivering goods to customers in the work vehicle
  • Ensuring all areas of the warehouse are kept clean and tidy
  • Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries

Permanent role with full time hours – Monday to Friday. Devonport location.

You will have:

  • Experience working in a customer service environment
  • Current drivers licence (essential)
  • Current forklift ticket would be an advantage, otherwise full training can be provided
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A willingness to learn the business from the ground up
  • The desire and drive for a long-term career
  • A strong understanding of safe manual handling techniques
  • Full Australian working rights
