  • Salary - $90-110,000 + Super
ABOUT THE COMPANY.

This is a global Architectural consultancy with offices in Australia, NZ, Asia, the UK and Spain. Over the past two decades this consultancy has embarked on a mission to enhance the standard of Seniors Living and Aged Care design globally, and design environments for residents to live their best lives, achieving longevity.

This commitment includes forming research alliances with Universities and industry leaders to understand all aspects of ageing including issues such as social isolation, loneliness and dementia which are often underestimated or not even considered by many designers.

In Australia they have designed multiple award-winning Seniors Living and Aged Care projects. These include landmark developments such as Bernborough Ascot for Lendlease, IRT Parkside, Aveo Springfield, Aveo Clayfield, Mark Moran Vaucluse, Waterbrook Greenwich, Watermark Castle Cove & Retire Australia Glengara Care and Gaynes Park for LifeCare.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

We are recruiting on behalf of this global Architectural consultancy for a Project Architect, to be based in their North Sydney office. They need someone with multi-residential experience and skilled in Revit. You must be a Registered Architect to apply.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Lead an established team to deliver projects
  • Execute the design process so that the design intent can be achieved, and client expectations are exceeded
  • Hit the ground running and work independently and collaboratively
  • Lead and contribute through all project stages on multiple projects
  • Manage relationships with clients and consultant, and ensure alignment between client and project team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Passion for design and architecture
  • Relevant degree in Architecture
  • Multi-residential experience essential
  • Working knowledge of Revit
  • Registration is essential
  • Strong knowledge of the project development and construction processes
  • Capability to produce accurate and comprehensive contract documentation
  • Excellent contract management skills, including a proactive approach to problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of BCA, other relevant Australian Standards, and Council codes
