JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance and GRCL (Governance, Risk, Compliance & Legal) Services, the Senior Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Compliance Framework and associated compliance work programs for the Fund. 

Working closely with the Compliance team and Business Units across the Fund, you will provide oversight and direction on building, maintaining and reporting on the framework and programs that meet the Fund’s compliance obligations and support the delivery of strategy and business outcomes. This role will also see you support the Senior Manager, Compliance and GRCL Services in developing other team members.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who loves working in a collaborative environment. A confident communicator, you pride yourself on your well-developed relationship skills and can liaise with Executives, senior managers, staff and external auditors in a credible and comfortable style. The successful candidate will demonstrate high levels of integrity together with strong personal and business ethics, sound judgement and a commitment to transparency and accountability.

Your will have extensive experience in superannuation, specifically in regulatory and procedural compliance, and good working knowledge of Financial Services Law as it affects superannuation and regulatory requirements.

RG146 qualification is essential to this role.
