The Opportunity

Our Supply Chain processes are always changing to adjust to the ever evolving needs of our customers and the need for ultimate convenience, even more so in the current societal climate.  Your role is to give business benefits and value through continuous improvements in the International Supply Chain network for supermarkets, EDG, NZ and Export. To Identify emerging issues, develop and improve processes in consultation with external and internal stakeholders to support the changing requirements of the business
Key responsibilities will be:

  • Plan and initiate Business Improvement projects
  • Maintain and build key relationships with Vendors, Stores, Buying & Marketing, Replenishment, Logistics and Global Sourcing Teams
  • Gather business requirements and prepare business cases that are accurate, well documented and clearly presented 
  • Identify and recommend alternative feasible solutions and/or new systems and processes based on business requirements
  • To maintain and develop reports from various data sources and tools 

Who we’re looking for
The suitable candidate will ideally have:

  • Knowledge of International Supply Chain / Freight forwarding (you don’t have to be directly working here, just know how it works)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management mindset
  • Proven track record of success in Business Improvement Projects
  • Energetic, driven and passionate
  • Commercially savvy
  • Driving performance in a motivating and enthusiastic way
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
