An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Manager to join our Elective surgery and Endoscopy Access Leadership team within the Division of Surgery Anaesthesia and Procedural Medicine.


The Access Manager for Elective Surgery and Endoscopy has overall responsibility for coordinating the service provision, staffing and resources to ensure efficient functioning of either the Endoscopy services portfolio or Elective surgery services portfolio at Austin Health.


To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate an excellent ability to manage the following key responsibilities:



  • Finance and budget management 

  • Human resource allocation and performance management 

  • Information technology systems 

  • Quality, Safety & Risk 

  • Partnership development 

  • Data and reporting requirements 

  • Strategic planning and business development

  • Project and innovation.
