About the Role
In this role you will be working in the Digital Information and Technology team to contribute to the operational success of the DIT team by performing data quality activities, developing reports, dashboards and providing insights across data sets required for the Business Services Refresh Program and the Data Services Hub.

You will utilise a range of business tools and methodologies to successfully identity and document business requirements, analyse data and conduct data quality activities across key data sets.

This is a temporary full-time position for six months.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying data sources for inclusion in the Autonomous Data Warehouse.
  • Analysing data to find answers to specific questions.
  • Assessing quality of data and removing or cleansing data.
  • Generating information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns.
  • Preparing reports for executive and project teams.
  • Creating visualisations of data.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant degree qualification from an accredited university or college in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role or lessor formal qualifications with extensive and diverse experience.


  • Understanding of reporting & data visualisation tools such as Cloud Analytics, PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Understanding of ETL framework and ETL tools including Alteryx and Microsoft SSIS.
  • Digital marketing analytics tools including Google 360, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Adobe Marketing Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills - the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data.
  • High level written, verbal and presentation skills – ability to write and speak clearly to easily communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Experience in identifying and documenting requirements and translating these into non-technical, lay terms.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Effective team member skills to support and contribute to an environment of high-functioning, productive and engaged teams.
