The Role

This successful candidate will be based in the City South location and be responsible for the management of a large portfolio of retail and industrial assets. The role will focus on providing tenants a superior level of customer service and ensure the effective management of all operational and maintenance issues. You will also be expected to effectively manage contractors to ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • All reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Face to Face communication with contractors, customers and clients.
  • Regular property inspections and weekly reports

Experience required

  • Previous experience in a facility management, contract management or related field.
  • Sound technical knowledge of building services including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and fire services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Have a sound understanding of BCA key components.
  • Demonstrated experience managing contractor groups.
  • Previous experience managing a similar portfolio of industrial and/or retail assets would be highly desirable.
