About Your Role

The Protected Vehicles business unit (PRV) is responsible for the design, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles (PMV). The business unit includes a Program Management Office (PMO) which is responsible for the provision of project management process, tools, training and overall governance.

The Project Scheduler is accountable for scheduling, resource planning and earned value management of activities within the Project Management team. These activities primarily focus on project cost and schedule performance, and bids and proposal development, to deliver vehicle programs on time and on budget, within agreed contract KPIs.

  • Develop, analyse and maintain integrated project schedules in accordance with the WBS utilising Primavera P6
  • Develop, analyse and manage resource requirements across allocated projects and bids
  • Provide regular project schedule status updates, including planned vs. actuals, and ongoing resource workload requirements
  • Clearly and effectively communicate cost and schedule variances to the Project Managers
  • Provide regular project schedule status updates, including planned vs. actuals, and ongoing resource workload requirements
  • Manage the Project Planning cycle including regular demand planning and schedule reviews with Project delivery teams

How About You?

  • A thorough understanding of project scheduling techniques
  • Experience in the use of Primavera P6 preferred
  • Experience with Power BI reporting
  • Experience and understanding of project management systems and planning tools
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate large volumes of work concurrently
  • High level of communication skills both written and verbal with a collaborative working style
