The Opportunity

The Manager TAFE Services leads a small team to provide internal and external stakeholder engagement. The role is responsible for establishing strategic links with key community representatives to remain in touch with local issues and satisfaction levels with TAFE NSW services, providing feedback and input for business development opportunities and continual improvement of service delivery.

They work collaboratively with functional areas, including training delivery, student services, facilities management and other corporate services to oversee, monitor and assess the effective integration and delivery of operations and services.

They provide a face for TAFE NSW into the community, and represent stakeholders into TAFE NSW, building excellence in customer experience.

About You

With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience within large organisations and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change. You will be a hands on individual with a high level of initiative and professionalism with the ability to be agile, work flexibly and autonomously in a highly dynamic environment. To succeed in the role you have demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and the ability to seek new relationships as well as maintain existing key relationships. Applying your leadership experience you will be leading a dynamic team with a passionate for education, TAFE NSW and the TAFE NSW values. You will have experience in managing competing priorities to achieve business outcomes.

Additional requirements:

  • Degree qualification in a related field or equivalent significant experience
  • Demonstrated experience to engage and work collaboratively with others to achieve common objectives embedding customer-centric principles
  • Proven experience in leading a team in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evening to align with TAFE operating hours.
  • Experience in contributing to operational plans and
  • Understanding of Work Health & Safety.
