We are looking for an Operations/ logistics support person to join our fast-growing team. You will work alongside a team dealing with imports & exports for air freight, sea freight shipments and fulfilment centres. Being a fast-paced environment and industry, it is vital that you bring you’re a-game when it comes to attention to detail and accuracy!

Key Responsibilities

  • High volume data entry
  • Tracking container deliveries/ shipping
  • Create and maintain the updating of Advanced Shipment Notice (shipment reference)
  • Co-ordinate import container ASN’s with Global fulfilment centres
  • Liaise with the Planning, Ops and CS Teams on schedules, priorities and deliveries
  • Liaise with Freight Forwarders and Fulfilment Centres on international shipments
  • Maintain the Goods in Transit report to ensure smooth and timely delivery of orders to our Global fulfilment Centres
  • Supplier/ Fulfilment discrepancy reports
  •  Co-ordinate with the Fulfilment Centres and respective departments in relation to the packaging, receipt, processing, allocation and distribution of stock variances/ issues
  • General administration and updating records
  • Weekly inbound shipping status reports
  • Communicating to key stakeholders, keeping everyone up to date on shipment progress


Selection criteria:

  • Previous Admin / Data Entry skills gained in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Experience within a shipping / transport / logistics industry would be advantageous
  • Several years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and practical application
  • Strong numerical skills, including accuracy and interpretation thereof
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, to Team Members at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills to meet shipping timeframes
  • Initiative to recognize or identify potential problems and resolution skills to implement solutions accordingly
  • Developed PC skills in Microsoft Office suite and Inventory and Merchandise systems required to undertake daily duties
  • Team player
