With over 400 internal employees within 42 offices, we support over 10,000 Field Team Members on client sites throughout Australia.

Our client now has the requirement for an experienced HSEQ Coordinator based in Perth. This is a Monday - Friday position and there will be a small amount of travel - as required.

What will you do?

  • Provide strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and ensure quality performance from the HSEQ team
  • Ensure business unit risk registers are regularly reviewed and effective in managing the organisation’s risks
  • Ensure HSEQ staff under direct control identify hazards and control risks in the workplace; and effectively manage incident, injury and compliance investigations
  • Perform frequent site HSEQ audits to identify all non-compliance equipment and/or processes at the site
  • Building teams and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders for the effective delivery of quality objectives
  • Manage and provide regular feedback to ensure the appropriate development of all direct reports
  • Build strong relationships with “dotted-line” reports and their managers to ensure their HSEQ competence and knowledge is up to date
What do you need?
  • Diploma or equivalent in OHS/HSE qualification
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessing
  • Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience
  • Proven track record in leading, implementing and managing quality, safety and risk management programs at the senior management level
  • Experience in managing accreditation/review processes for accreditation programs with AS/NZ 4801, ISO 9001 & 14001 including ISO31000
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OHS/WHS legislation
  • Strong work ethic and positive approach to work
  • A broad understanding of the mental health and wellbeing strategies
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with an ability to work to timelines and be outcome focused whilst managing multiple tasks
  • High-level documentation skills for the recording, investigation, and reporting of safety performance
