JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Federal Government client requires 2, Level 1 Service Desk Support Officers for an immediate start. Initially until 31st December 2021 with options to go until 31st December 2022.

You will be required to hold a current Baseline Clearance.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Experience working with staff over the phone
  • A good balance of customer focus and strong technical troubleshooting
  • High QA, documentation of incidents
  • Experienced with: AD, user accounts management, resource groups, distribution lists, front facing exchange features, elevated permissions
  • WFH & onsite, based on roster
  • To be physically capable of lifting & moving equipment like monitors, desk printers & general ICT stock

To be considered for this position you will have experience with:

  • Call management software
  • Computer Hardware Support and part replacement
  • Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Exchange administration
  • Microsoft Office Suite Support
  • Local and Networked Printer Support
  • IT Warehouse / Asset Management

Familiarity with the following will be an advantage:

  • Apple iOS
  • MAC OSX
  • Cisco Video Conferencing and Web based video clients like Webex and GotoMeeting
  • Windows 8.1 and 10

This role will involve both working in the office (socially distanced) and working from home on a rotating roster basis.
