About the job

Our client provides specialised electrical engineering services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial industries. They have extensive and proven capabilities across all aspects of project management, power generation, power systems, control systems, automation, plant integrity and operations support. They engineer, build and manage process and control systems for some of the largest mining, oil & gas and manufacturing companies in Australia and across the world and can supply anything from through to complete turnkey systems.

You should have a sound understanding in the design, construction and commissioning of mineral processing facilities, control systems and power management systems and their applications within the mining and industrial sector and demonstrate your ability to build and grow business opportunities. You will also be a motivated self-starter, reliable and have excellent communication skills. You will be adaptable, resourceful and above all have a strong client focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage existing client relationships
• Identify and pursue new opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies to grow existing and develop new business
• Coordinate bid management and tender submissions
• Manage projects when awarded
• Coordinate with Brisbane office to resource projects appropriately
• Manage and contribute to design requirements
• Coordinate the office requirements as we grow

Key Skills and Requirements:

• More than 10 years technical experience in the power creation, distribution and control systems within the materials handling or mining sectors.
• A technical engineering background, engineering degree would be ideal
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work autonomously without supervision is essential for success in the role

Remuneration
