Aveo is seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer/Gardener to join the team at Aveo Sunnybank Green.

About the role & Aveo Sunnybank Green:

  • Part-Time position available - 22.5hours per week
  • Weekly shifts - Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (8am to 4pm)
  • Vibrant retirement community with independent living units

Your responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day maintenance and gardening needs throughout the community to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others
  • Liaise with Manager to ensure projects undertaken are safe, aesthetically compatible and timely
  • Oversee maintenance work undertaken by Contractors within the community

About you:

  • Level 2 Horticulture Certificate (desirable)
  • Current Police check clearance
  • Valid driver's licence (required)
  • Experience in General Maintenance and Handyman skills
  • Previous industry and similar role experience (highly regarded)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple stakeholders and requests
